The materials in the Alpha Kappa Psi photographs and scrapbooks consist mainly of images of events and people. Many of the events and individuals depicted were identified by name. The majority of the photographs are 3x3 black-and-white photographic prints, with a few larger sizes including several 8x10 and 4x5 prints. The scrapbooks include photographs, newspaper clippings, and correspondence, among other materials.

Biographical / Historical
Alpha Kappa Psi is a business fraternity originally established at New York University in 1904 and currently headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Gamma Pi chapter of AKPsi was established at Seton Hall University in 1954. Originally for men only, the service-oriented organization is now co-educational and is affiliated with the W. Paul Stillman School of Business.
