Father Raúl Comesañas, 1943-2018, was a Roman Catholic Priest and civic advocate from the Union City, New Jersey area. Fr. Comesañas was active in many different organizations throughout his life, including the Union of Cuban Exiles (1980-1990), National Co-Chairman of the Spanish-Speaking Advisory Committee to the United States Commissioner of Education (1970-1973), and running for the 13th Congressional district United States House of Representatives race in 1970.
