Abstract

This collection documents the history, activities, and celebrations of many of the women's Religious Orders throughout New Jersey, generally spanning the years from 1869-2012. The collection also contains materials related to some out-of-state orders, particularly in New York, and materials related to individual sisters of some orders.

WWII Ration Books, 1943

Abstract

During WWII, some foods and other supplies were rationed in order to ensure adequate supplies for the war effort. This small collection consists of five WWII ration books dating from 1943, which include information about the owner of the book, instructions on food rationing, and stamps used to purchase rationed food items during the war.
