Father Raúl Comesañas, 1943-2018, was a Roman Catholic Priest and civic advocate from the Union City, New Jersey area. Fr. Comesañas was active in many different organizations throughout his life, including the Union of Cuban Exiles (1980-1990), National Co-Chairman of the Spanish-Speaking Advisory Committee to the United States Commissioner of Education (1970-1973), and running for the 13th Congressional district United States House of Representatives race in 1970. From the Collection:
The collection contains letters and reproductions of letters sent to the third President of Seton Hall University. The reproductions are believed to be photocopies of hand-written transcripts for original letters not present in the collection. Also included are incomplete reproductions of letters: in some cases only one page has been transcribed, in other cases the transcription appears to stop part-way through the letter.
