This single-item collection consists of a handbill from the Newark Vietnam Work-In Committee. The undated handbill was likely printed in the summer of 1967. It is addressed “Dear Friend” and opens with a description of the challenges facing the activists in the Black Liberation movement in Newark. Robert D. Spencer Legal Notebook, 1834-1870

This collection consists of a single notebook containing handwritten notes dating from 1834 to 1870 by law reporter Robert D. Spencer and others. The name Robert D. Spencer is embossed on the spine of the notebook, and the majority of its content seems to be produced by him. Robert D. Spencer died in 1855, but the entries continue in a different hand until 1870. It is unclear who wrote the later notes. There is an index at the back of the notebook that covers the entries from 1834 to 1850....
