During WWII, some foods and other supplies were rationed in order to ensure adequate supplies for the war effort. This small collection consists of five WWII ration books dating from 1943, which include information about the owner of the book, instructions on food rationing, and stamps used to purchase rationed food items during the war.

Fr. Francis Derivaux was a priest in the Archdiocese of Newark. He attended Seton Hall College, graduating in 1911, and then went on to study at Immaculate Conception Seminary. Fr. This is a vast collection of mostly photocopied newspaper and magazine articles, poems, and images, gathered over more than a decade by Alphonse Cartusciello. As an initial guide Mr. Cartusciello appears to have used Campanella’s 2-volume Garibaldi bibliography. (There is a copy currently in SHU’s Valente Collection, donated several years ago by writer Anthony Valerio).
