The collection contains letters sent to Reverend McQuaid by Seton Hall students, parents, donors and others. Some of the letters concern donations for a new building to replace the main building lost in fire in January 1866. McQuaid's replies are not contained within the collection. Also included is an image of McQuaid.

These slides were created by Professor Forrest Pritchett in the fall of 1978 for the purposes of display at the event honoring James Foreman. Photographed from books and newspapers, this selection of photographs was meant to visually illustrate the history of the Civil Rights movement in America, from the segregation of the 1950s to the leaders of the SNCC, including the honoree of that event. Scope and Contents note
Fasciculus Temporum, an early outline of history from the creation of the world to about 1480. Werner Rollewinck, a prolific scholar who finished his days in a Carthusian monastery, was the author of this work, which went through several editions. The first of these was printed by Arnold Ther Hoeren in Cologne in 1474, the specimen here shown being from the fifth edition of Erhard Ratdolt, which he brought out in Venice in 1485. All editions, it may be noted, are almost equally scarce....
