The John L. McNulty records consist primarily of material generated by Monsignor McNulty during his time as the President of Seton Hall. The collection includes appointment books, correspondence, speeches, materials related to legal matters, personal files, subject files, and files related to the operation of the University.
The collection contains letters sent to Reverend McQuaid by Seton Hall students, parents, donors and others. Some of the letters concern donations for a new building to replace the main building lost in fire in January 1866. McQuaid's replies are not contained within the collection. Also included is an image of McQuaid.
The Francis J. Monaghan records contain documents from his tenure as President of Seton Hall College from 1933 to 1936. Included are correspondence and memoranda.
