Overview The National Defense Language Institute, now known as the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), is a foriegn-language instruction program for US Military personnel that was run through satellite instruction programs at college campuses during the 1950s-1970s. The National Defense Language Institute at Seton Hall University reports include reports on the program as it was run at Seton Hall during the 1960s and 1970s.
